About Us

Simon is an experienced CertRP qualified, technical recruiter and Member of the Institute of Recruitment Professionals (MIRP), entering the industry in early 2012. Having started as a Resourcer and growing into Senior Consultant role, followed by Team Manager, Simon co-founded Source Solutions in 2016 with the firm belief that a company which valued quality above all else, could provide a better service to its clients and create a proud and distinguished working environment.

Among his achievements, Simon is credited with training the recipient of the first ever IRP “Recruitment Apprentice of the Year Award” voted by the recruitment governing body, the REC, and continues to champion the training and development of professionals wishing to make a career in the industry.

Simon is a dedicated client relationship developer and prides himself on his honest, open and committed approach to providing the very best service possible to his clients. Whilst retaining a professional and confident edge, Simon always ensures a friendly and convivial environment with clients and colleagues alike, something he believes brings out the best in people and the best results.

Outside of the world of recruitment, Simon is a keen squash and football player (rather casually at left-back) and holds a black belt in Judo. He has also dabbled in rhythm guitar & vocals in numerous bands over the years – you may find him hosting an open mic night near you (if you are lucky/unlucky enough).

Tom co-founded Source Solutions in 2016 with a vision to create an industry leading business generating a positive and harmonious working environment that affords consultants the freedom and mobility to fully support their clients and perform at their very best. Tom is a passionate recruitment leader who is driven by the development of his teams. He understands that happy, motivated and well-trained consultants provide the best experience to both clients and candidates.

Tom is a CertRP qualified technical recruiter, beginning his career in 2010 as a trainee consultant with an international recruitment consultancy based in Hampshire. He joined a newly formed Oil and Gas team and very quickly established himself as a talented recruiter with a keen eye for developing relationships and the desire for a deep understanding of the sector he recruited for.

As a strong advocate of recruitment Best Practices, Tom is proud to be a Fellow of the Institute of Recruitment Professionals and continues in his commitment to its principles. Professionally, he is fascinated by the energy transition and the technical challenges it presents.

In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his young family, hiking and “going on adventures”. His golf game seems to have suffered as a result…
