Source Solutions is recruiting an experienced RHSEQ professional with a strong background with in marine/offshore project environments, on behalf of a leading engineering business within a niche market, to take on a challenging 6 month fixed-term contract (although it is highly likely that this will be extended).

The successful candidate will play a key role in developing processes and policies and provide vital day-to-day support to the management team with regards to RHSEQ matters, leading by example in upholding RHSEQ standards. You will be directly involved in delivering effective RHSEQ management systems and initiatives, providing support in production of systems documentation.

The role will be client facing and as such you will attend and contribute to client visits and actively participate in site and vessel visits/inspections, representing the RHSEQ function with a professional and collaborative approach.

 

Candidate:

To be considered for this role, it is essential that you possess a strong and demonstrable understanding of maritime-project related risk and HSEQ functions and requirements. Ideally you will have worked in offshore/nearshore/coastal engineering focussed environments such as subsea, dredging etc.

You will be a confident individual with the ability to communicate effectively to clients, stakeholders (internal and external) and across internal departments. This role requires a high degree of teamwork and so you must display the ability to collaborate successfully in order to achieve common goals.

Another part of the role will centre around fostering a culture of continual improvement within the RHSEQ department and a track record of identifying and implementing relevant improvements will be highly desirable.
